WE ARE ABOUT TO DO SOMETHING VERY DANGEROUS.
We are bringing you some of our favourite South West based comedians and putting them ALL ON THE SAME BILL.
THERE ARE NO MEN ON THIS LINE UP.
A Locally Sourced SPECIAL EDITION from South West based comedians who happen to be women.
Steps we are taking to ensure the safety of our lady comedians:
No loud noises
Fitted every performer with a permanent panic alarm
Neutralised any threats from predators by providing the women with a 965 page guide written by Dr Mr Manly Man, which explains how the women can make sure that they are safe in dangerous situations.
Employed a team of highly trained security mice who are much stronger than women
Who is on the bill?
Amy Mason (+MORE TBA)
Amy is a stand up comedian, writer and theatre maker who performs comedy across the UK.
She has written for The News Quiz (BBC Radio 4), Hypothetical (Dave) and several other radio and TV shows.
In 2014 Amy won the Dundee International Book Prize with her novel The Other Ida.
What is Locally Sourced?
Locally Sourced is a free comedy night that happens every Tuesday at the Little Drop of Poison on Fore Street.
Set up in 2022 by Charlotte Evans and Will Adamsdale, Locally Sourced has given a platform to new acts across the South West and also a few acts you might have seen on the telly.
Often described as ‘the weirdest night of my life’, Locally Sourced is the best place to see everything from clowning to stand up comedy on a Tuesday night in a pub in Exeter.
In 2024, Locally Sourced produced the pretty-much-sold-out Exeter Comedy Festival, and continues to host weird little nights at The Little Drop of Poison every Tuesday.
