Join RECLAIM: a full-day immersive workshop guided by somatic practitioner/dancer Hayley Shannon & nature-based trauma therapist Rachel Duthler to explore creative and embodied practices to face the hidden parts of you and recover their magic.

ABOUT THIS OFFERING

How do we build compassion for the parts of ourselves we struggle with?

How does it feel to reintegrate them and reclaim the gifts that they hold?

At times, we all experience aspects of ourselves that we judge or want to hide from. But every time we choose to outcast a part of ourselves, we are also abandoning the gifts that this part holds.

Through movement/dance, psychodrama, parts work, journaling and ritual, we grow our capacity for curiousity & compassion while tending to what’s ready to be seen, reclaimed, and loved back into our wholeness.

This workshop is your invitation to:

• Tend to a part of you that feels stuck, ashamed, or hidden
• Offer space for internal judgements and invite a sense of self compassion
• Discover what it feels like to move with embodied Self energy– a grounded, spacious and loving awareness
• Utilize movement and dance as tools for embodied integration
• Journal and draw as inspiration for movement
• Experience small group playfulness and support
• Integrate a challenging part to reclaim your inner sovereignty

This workshop is for you if you’re ready to:

• Soften judgment toward parts you find difficult to love
• Embody a deeper connection to your inner world
• Reclaim a fragmented aspect of yourself and celebrate its wisdom and creativity
• Dance your way into deeper integration

🌀Approximate Workshop Flow:

9:45am Doors open; welcome and orient

10-12:30pm Intro to Parts Work & Dance; building our foundation

12:30-1:30pm Lunch break; bring your own or explore nearby cafés

1:30-4pm Deepen into embodied and creative practices including movement / dance, parts work, psychodrama, journaling & ritual

4-4:30pm Close and digest the day
