About this Event
"Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." - Jesus of Nazareth
Christians in every age have sought to discern how the good news of Jesus might shape and re-shape the world as we know it - ourselves, our families, our cities, and nations. We believe Jesus is king over the world, and that his kingdom reign is good news for all. So what does faithful Christian witness require of us in this post-Christian age? Are Christians to pray and work toward making their nations "Christian nations"? Is it acceptable to work to see the good news of Jesus shape public policy?
Join us on Saturday June 6th, 2026, as the Rev. Dr James R Wood helps us to consider these and other related questions, reckoning with the claims of Christian nationalism.
