Clown Boss Chad Damiani has decided to celebrate his birthday by doing something completely new. Over the years, Chad has put together all kinds of ensembles, acts and solo pieces – but he’s never done his own solo WIP show.
Reckless Chad Reuben: ** is based on one of Chad’s most popular characters:
Reckless Chad Reuben was once the most dangerous comic in America. A massive celebrity who said and did whatever he wanted – and dared the world to stop him.
Eventually, they did.
But losing everything was the best thing to ever happen to Reckless. This isn’t a comeback special – it’s a comedy manifesto on how to grow and change. Can Reckless find new ways to make people laugh – and right the wrongs on his toxic past? Or is this dog just too old to learn how to fit into the modern world?

Chad Damiani has spent over a decade as one of the architects/anarchists/mad scientists behind the creation of the LA clown scene. He’s the creator/star of the STAND UP AND CLOWN – where he directs well-known stand-ups through their first clown show. He’s one-half of RORY AND CHAD WIN COMEDY TONIGHT – an immersive comedy experience he performs with comedian Rory Scovel. He’s an ensemble member in the international clown variety show STAMPTOWN – which features some of the best alt comics in the world. Chad is also the leader of CLOWN ZOO – an all-star ensemble created during the pandemic -- that combines modern clown and theatrical mask work.
Chad has performed his solo work all over the country. He’s appeared in various TV shows and music videos, including AMERICA’S GOT TALENT, DAVE, and TBS’s upcoming reboot of JOE SCHMO. Chad is also a Blacklist-winning screenwriter and worked as an announcer for World Championship Wrestling (this was a very long time ago).
