Od zamieszkiwania form nieożywionych po ewolucję poprzez nieruchome i ruchome istoty, osiągając kulminację w wyjątkowości ludzkiego życia, narracja rozwija się z perspektywy duszy.
Dusza wychodzi z fizycznego ciała, stając się gawędziarzem, aby zastanowić się nad własną ścieżką i odpowiedzieć na pytania: Czy dusza kiedykolwiek wchodzi w niewłaściwe ciało? Jakie są konsekwencje karmy? Te kontemplacje splatają się razem, rzucając światło na znaczenie każdej chwili i wyboru w naszym życiu."
Sandhya Udupa to utalentowana tancerka Bharatanatyam, która łączy grację i piękno tradycji z nowoczesnym podejściem do sztuki. Jest uczennicą renomowanej artystki Aacharyi Indiry Kadambi oraz kuratorką festiwalu tanecznego Nritya Katha. Sandhya posiada szerokie doświadczenie w dziedzinie tańca klasycznego, w tym Kuchipudi, Yakshagana oraz muzyki karnatyckiej. Jest także laureatką wielu prestiżowych nagród, takich jak Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Award 2022 oraz Best Performer na festiwalu Bharat Nritya Utsav 2023 w Chennai.

Dance, Concept and choreography
Life an unending quest. While some learn to search the others search to learn, for time is our greatest teacher and we it's weakest student. We stubble through experiences to know the self in a better way.
Kāla Tarka is an authentic and deeply personal thematic production that delves into questions that have lingered in my mind since my grandmother's demise.
Through this work, I explore the soul's journey, its emergence from the universal source and its passage through different states of existence. From inhabiting non-living forms to evolving through immovable and movable beings, culminating in the uniqueness of human life, the narrative unfolds from the soul's perspective.
The soul steps out of the physical body, becoming a storyteller to reflect on its own path and answers the questions: Does the soul ever enter the wrong body? What are the consequences of karma? These contemplations weave together to shed light on the significance of each moment and choice in our lives.

Sandhya Udupa is a talented Bharatanatyam dancer who combines the grace and beauty of tradition with a modern approach to art. She is a student of renowned Aacharya artist Indira Kadambi and curator of the Nritya Katha dance festival. Sandhya has extensive experience in classical dance, including Kuchipudi, Yakshagana and Carnatic music. She has also won many prestigious awards, such as the Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Award 2022 and Best Performer at the Bharat Nritya Utsav 2023 festival in Chennai.
