Here your chance to have a sneak peek at 90% of the course changes within one morning!
Starting from the Race Village at Hansen Park we will head up into the amazing Mt Vernon Park managed by the Port Hills Park Trust – who receive a donation from every CRU entry.
Taking an exaggerated sheep track through a secluded valley will land us on Summit Rd.
Traversing across the Crater Rim Track to Linda Woods Reserve for some exploring before we begin the rock hop down the Valley heading for the finish line back at Hansen Park.
We will also have a shorter option using the brand new 6km course.
• Meet at Hansen Park, Opawa (parking available) 7.55am. •
Please come prepared with drinks and nutrition. Maybe even fill your pack with the compulsory race kit and items you will need on race day - give them a test!
Plan to be out on the trail for 2 - 3hrs.
Paces for all abilities, those signed up for CRU event are welcome, those on the 'signing up fence' are welcome, your friends are welcome, your family are welcome - Everybody is welcome!
