Rec Rooms Comedy Night

Our Rec Rooms comedy night may be starting on April 1st but we assure you this is no April Fools! We have a blinding line up for you for the 2022 opener and can't wait to tell you who else we have lined up for the rest of the year!

Headlined by the brilliant Nick Helm who first took to the stand-up comedy stage in 2007 and quickly became a circuit legend with his tour de force of one-liners, stories, poems and jokes. Since then, he’s become one of Britain’s most loved comedians for his multiple, memorable and moving television appearances, his critically acclaimed writing and his legendary rollercoaster live shows.

Nick has become a firm TV favourite having appeared on multiple shows both acting and as himself. He was nominated for a Royal Television Society Award for his starring role in critically acclaimed BBC Three sitcom, Uncle, and also played the adorable Watto is Channel 4’s Loaded which was later broadcast on AMC in America. This is all in addition to his other unforgettable TV appearances such as 8 Out of 10 Cats, Russell Howard’s Good News and Celebrity Mastermind.

Middle: With Ivo Graham who despite extensive grooming for more serious careers at Eton and Oxford, Ivo Graham has spent his entire adult life on the comedy circuit, establishing himself as, if not the UK’s poshest, then certainly its most apologetically posh comedian. With a bumbling charm to snare audiences of all ages, he’s sold out six runs at the Edinburgh Fringe, the latest of which was nominated for the prestigious “Best Show” award in 2019, and appeared on TV shows including Have I Got News For You, Mock The Week and Live At The Apollo.

Host: Danny Ward. Observational comedian, writer and presenter Danny’s humour is up-beat and well honed, and his manic style of delivery is both endearing and very funny.  With a high energy set and brilliantly well observed material covering everything from the randomness of the Lidl,  to how to get the 'London Look'  the gags keep coming.

Tickets are £20pp sold in tables of two, four and six.

Pre gig meals available in Rec Rooms 1, doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm.
