Please join us for this FREE in-store performance from locals Rebelskamp! Rebelskamp is from San Jose and hit the music scene in 2011, when they decided to take the "Natasha's Garage Sessions" (a weekly psychedelic improv jam-night held in a friend's haunted Garage) to the main stages of San Jose, the Bay Area, and beyond. The core members have remained the same since inception, with a few minor changes through the years. The current Rebelskamp line-up consists of the 3 Huelsenkamp brothers - Jesse aka Gee Willikers (vocals/guitar), Jeremiah Lee aka Verse (bass guitar/background vocals/etc), and Justin (synth/samples/effects), Juan Maserati (keys), and features Kenny Bundy (sax), and Phil Zigs of Relapse (lead guitar). Dan Gilardoni is the original drummer on the first 3 releases, but other drummers have also filled that position in recent times. Stylistically, their music has a genre of its own, because of its fluid nature. The vibe is known to fluctuate from Funk to Psychedelic Rock to Blues, and Soul, and the players pull from elements of Hip-Hop, Reggae Dub, and Jazz, managing to seamlessly blend moods, influences, and sounds into one. Rebelskamp is known to play off of the energy of the crowd, while conjuring new culminations and creating a sound to suit the environment, like chameleons of music.
