>>>>> OUR NEXT PROJECT <<<<<
We’ve been building the growing success of the Rebel SBK Noches, and last year we held our first Rebel SBK Convention.
WE’RE BACK, BIGGER, WISER AND STRONGER and we are super excited to bring you the Rebel SBK Convention – 2nd EDITION!! With some changes!
We still have a full day of progressive learning workshops and have an exciting new collection of talented teachers.
It’s still important for us that you get a full learning experience from the masterclasses so we will try to balance leaders and followers as best we can; and we’ll be bringing support teachers into the masterclasses to make your learning and practicing experience even richer.
We are still giving you an SBK Social, evening class, animation and a short performance!
We’ve shuffled the times, added some breaks and organised a SECOND floor polish BEFORE the social starts and you're off spinning across the dancefloor :)

He runs the Latin Dance School “Salsaché” and runs classes and parties regularly in Nottingham!
- The master Social Dancer, the Inspiring teacher, the creative performer! Born in Paris with roots in Senegal, this personable, magnetic and charismatic maestro's heritage is reflected in his breadth of ability, interpreting styles spanning from the New York style On1 and On2, to Chachacha and Son not to forget Cuban Salsa, the popular 'Rueda de Casino' and folkloric Afro-Cuban dance forms. Just name it, Tamba can dance it and most importantly he can teach it! Passionate, friendly and approachable, Tamba pays close attention to details and technique when he teaches. He really cares about his students so they make good and visible progress and always make sure they are in the best of learning atmospheres! At parties Tamba is known to dance a lot and with everyone as he absolutely loves it and if you see him leading Ruedas or Animations, be ready to be entertained one way or another!
Rasa
- Hello everybody, my name is Rasa Pauzaite, also known as Rasa The Dancer! I am a professional Latin dancer and dance teacher based in London, specialising in salsa and bachata. I travel the world teaching salsa and bachata, and I love having the opportunity to explore beautiful parts of the world, participate in interesting projects, meet new people and enjoy unforgettable dance events.
- Lately I have been traveling all around the UK, Europe and outside places like Miami and Dominican Republic teaching people in large congresses, private gatherings and corporate events. I have also been featured in the Movie ‘Cuban Fury’ as well as performed on many other platforms.
- I was a winner of the 2011 freestyle Salsa and Bachata championships in the UK and gained much experience over many years as a teacher of both Salsa, Bachata and Freestyle with a teaching style that I believe blends my passion & enthusiasm for dancing with a fun, friendly, student centred and accessible approach.
Jeydikson
I was born in Sao Tome and moved to Portugal when I was 8 years old.
- Before I started my dance career, I used to play 3rd league for the Portuguese football team.
- In 2000, I found what took my mind to a different dimension all together.
- At a young age, I started dancing Hip hop and RnB at my local school.
- I later developed different styles of dance such as Breakdance, House, Afro-beats, Contemporary and Kuduro.
- It was at the tender age of 19 when I found Kizomba and I fell in love. It gave me a feeling of peace, love, excitement,
sentiment and made my soul ooze with such a passion it was explosive...to the point that when I danced, it spoke many different languages that connected me to beautiful music and other people.
- It took me 5 years to learn how to dance Kizomba and my style is all thanks to my master: Avelino Chantre.
- I moved to the UK in 2014 and decided to challenge my style and show my skill with my dance partner Sonny Varela.
We were thrilled to come 1st place in the UK and 3rd international with Africa Dancar 2015.
- Kizomba has developed me in many ways and I can honestly say I am in love with every aspect of it.
Issiaka
- Karamoko Issiaka, co-founder of Xtremambo - a fusion of salsa and hip-hop - is a multi-disciplinary artist, dancer, and fashion designer.
- Woven throughout his artistic career is the thread of fusion - of genres, styles, and of materials. Favored by his extensive background in dance, with expertise in breakdance, house and new style, he quickly found himself attracted to salsa, whithin which he would go on to develop his very own interpretation of its musicality and dance.
- Swiftly, he decided to take on the powerful mixture that is SALSAHIPHOP thus participating in the creation of the wonderful project that is XTREMAMBO, as a global ambassador of salsahiphop.
- In his own words:
- As humans, we transcend the labels and boxes imposed on us. We are so much more than that - complex, curious, filled with a beautiful plurality of things.
- That fusion is, therfore, part of our very essence and of the fabric of our humanity. This is what I aim to explore in the melting pot of materials that compose me, not separately, no, but together - in cohesion and in fusion.
