Zema Contemporary is pleased to display Rebel Images, a group exhibitionfeaturing international artists from a wide range of countries working in a variety of
techniques. Curated by Gabriella Uhl, "Freedom" emerges as a central motif within
the exhibition, manifesting both politically and artistically within the showcased
works. The audacious departure from conventional motifs, techniques, and symbols
underscores the creators' boundless creativity.
However, this creative expression often necessitated a physical and metaphorical
migration to new lands, where thoughts could flourish unhindered and find
expression in artistic forms. The poignant yet dynamic interplay between this
struggle and creative liberation permeates the ambiance of the exhibition.
The artists represented in the show will be Ahmad Mallah and Nizar Abusharara
from Palestine; Taras Tolstikov from Ukraine; Alireza Shojaian, Makhism, Kian
Hedayat from Iran; Gamze Yalcin, Stefan Ragimov, Studio Pinprick, Vural Yildirim
from Turkey; Kai Harutyunyan from Armenia and William Theodoracopulos from
U.S.A.
Zema Contemporary se complace en presentar Rebel Images, una
exposición colectiva que presenta a artistas internacionales de una
amplia gama de países que trabajan en una variedad de técnicas.
Curada por Gabriella Uhl, "Libertad" emerge como un motivo central
dentro de la exposición, manifestándose tanto política como
artísticamente en las obras expuestas. La audaz ruptura con los
motivos, técnicas y símbolos convencionales subraya la creatividad
ilimitada de los creadores.
Sin embargo, esta expresión creativa a menudo requirió una migración
física y metafórica a nuevas tierras, donde los pensamientos pudieran
florecer sin restricciones y encontrar expresión en formas artísticas. La
conmovedora pero dinámica interacción entre esta lucha y la liberación
creativa impregna la atmósfera de la exposición.
