Writer, historian, and activist Rebecca Solnit joins Dr. Leah Stokes and Nikayla Jefferson for a conversation about Not Too Late, a new anthology edited by Solnit that changes the climate story from despair to possibility. Solnit is the author of twenty books on a variety of topics, including feminism, the environment, western and Indigenous history, politics, and art. After the conversation, there will be a book signing with Rebecca Solnit.

Dr. Leah Stokes is the Anton Vonk associate professor at UC Santa Barbara, an adviser to Rewiring America and a host of the podcast “A Matter of Degrees.” She is a policy expert with nearly two decades of experience working on climate and energy, including championing a federal Clean Electricity Standard.

Nikayla Jefferson is a Political Science PhD student at UC Santa Barbara, where she researches American environmental politics and social movements. She also co-founded the Sunrise Movement San Diego in 2019.
