I'm doing a film screening and artist Q&A for my documentary "Realms of Resilience" as part of the anniversary celebration for Indigenous Roots Cultural Arts Center!The events for the screening start at 5pm! However, the celebration day will start at 11am with a watch party of "Here's the Truth" and the launch of Indigenous Roots-Mexico!
Then we will have a Indigenous arts & crafts market from noon-4pm, followed by the opening reception to Maw Reh's art exhibition "Living in Diaspora: Being Karenni in the World"
We'll set up for my film and have opening speakers at 5pm before streaming "Realms of Resilience" at 5:30pm. I'll take your questions afterwards and we'll end the night with live music, dances and songs.
