Join us for a special simulation that lets teens experience life in the real world. Plus, get Free Lunch & Monster Jam tickets by attending!About this Event
Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Plus, each participating student receives 2 free Monster Jam tickets for attending!
Workshop is intended for ages 13 - 18.
- The importance of having a money plan
- Budgeting basics
- Spending, saving and sharing wisely
- The cost / impact of credit
- 9am - 9:30am Check In
- Upon arrival students are given a new identity (occupation, income, etc.)
- Next students are provided clip boards with budgeting worksheets, pens and calculators
- VyStar team provides a brief overview and instructions to students of the simulation
- Simulation starts and the students visit 11 stations (including car, home, grocery buying, etc.)
- Upon completion, students will revieve a certificate + special VyStar swag
- Free lunch and refreshments provided for parents and students
