About this Event
Naomi Wood, UEA tutor and winner of the 2023 BBC National Short Story Award, is coming all the way to Brighton to talk to us about what makes a successful short story. Her brand new collection This is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things is out on 4 April.
Meeting monthly, Real Writers Circle is a dedicated collective of writers who give and receive support, insights and advice as our writing unfolds – toward publication or otherwise.
Circle members are un/published authors across any genre or form committed to bettering our work and sharing experience and knowledge that informs our writing.
Through facilitated sessions, we encourage exchange, spark connections and seek to inspire and engage with each other. We trust the circle to offer feedback, insights and expertise that is sensitive, useful and satisfying.
Glass of preferred beverage in hand, we meet from 6-8pm on the last Tuesday of every month in beautiful surroundings in a venue in Brighton.
