About this Event

Having the skills and confidence to build healthy relationships is the best way for teens to protect themselves against intimate partner violence.

In this new workshop presented by Dr. Yuliana Gelb, Director of JFCS' Dream Program, teens will learn how to:

  • Recognize what healthy vs. unhealthy relationships look like
  • Have safe sex and protect physical and emotional health
  • Respect communication, boundaries, and consent
  • Identify red flags and warning signs in dating relationships
  • Get help and support for yourself or a friend
  • Address peer pressure, texting, social media, and online safety

For teens ages 12 to 17.

Parental authorization is required for all participants. Link to authorization form will be provided in the registration confirmation email.
