Real-Life First Aid for Real-Life Moms

Join us for a practical, low-stress first aid and emergency preparedness mini-course designed specifically for real life with babies and young children. Our guest speaker this month is Charlene, a Red Cross educator who is going to take us through what to do in the moment and how to feel calm, confident, and prepared when the unexpected happens. Because we know with kid, you always need to be prepared!

We’ll cover common childhood emergencies like cuts and bleeding, choking, burns, ingesting non-food items or toxins, heat-related concerns, and injuries — along with clear guidance on what can be safely handled at home, when to call for help, and what to do in the meantime. You’ll leave with simple, actionable tools and a better understanding of how to respond quickly and confidently when little emergencies pop up.

Babies under 1(ish) are welcome as always, but older kiddos will need another designated adult to supervise in the office. We will have coffee and bagels of course, so please RSVP so we can plan accordingly!
