Real Estate on the Front Lines: Recognizing & Preventing Human Trafficking

As an international gateway and host to major sporting, cultural and tourism events, Miami occupies a unique position in the fight against human trafficking.

Commercial Real Estate Women Miami (CREW Miami), in partnership with Marsh, will host an educational workshop examining the intersection of human trafficking and commercial real estate and what professionals who own, operate, manage and insure properties should know.

Bringing together perspectives from advocacy, federal law enforcement, tourism and risk management, the panel will discuss how trafficking can intersect with hotels, multifamily communities, short-term rentals and other properties; warning signs CRE professionals should recognize; and how they can respond appropriately.
