Imagine being surrounded by beautiful works of art, while you support local artists, paint alongside professional artists, create custom Kula Cloths, and enjoy the company of new friends, hand-crafted beers, ciders and delicious food that you don’t have to cook!
Welcome to the Kulaverse – a world limited only by your imagination.
This isn’t just a gallery night where you're surrounded by beautiful art. It’s an evening to celebrate artists, support their work, and try your hand at creating with them. Join them as they paint, craft, and bring their visions to life—or jump in and make your own artistic creations.
In a world full of AI and instant perfection, this evening is a reminder that , real people that pour hearts and souls into every brushstroke, and design. This night is also chance to celebrate the art of Kula Cloth and the artists that make them beautiful. But even more… it’s a chance for you to create art with them.

Paint Your Inner Trail Animal
Whether you're a hiker, backpacker or someone that thrives on creative adventures, join Amelia to learn some tips and tricks with pencil, pen, and watercolors to illustrate and paint the animal-adventurer that you carry within. Come prepared to unleash your silly, bold, ferocious, or snack-attack, suffering inner self via art. Art experience not necessary. Sense of humor strongly suggested!
About Amelia Kaiser | /IG: Raised in the shadow of Mt. Rainier, Amelia finds endless artistic inspiration from the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Her creative work includes original watercolors, commissioned paintings, and murals. Her favorite projects are collaborations that bring together individuals, communities, and local ecosystems.Amelia is an advocate for slow living, creating more than we consume, and making meaningful connections with those around us and the natural world. Little Works of Art - Handmade Watercolor Cards with Sophia
Join professional watercolor artist Sophia Trinh for a lively, drop-in session where you’ll create beautiful handmade watercolor cards together. Explore flowing wet-on-wet techniques, play with color, and bring nature-inspired designs—like trees, sea life, and Washington landscapes—to life on paper. Whether you’re brand new to watercolor or already have experience, you’ll enjoy painting alongside a pro and leave with one-of-a-kind cards you’re proud to gift or keep.
About Sophia Trihn | / IG:
Sophia Trinh is a Vietnamese American watercolor artist from Seattle. She was first introduced to watercolors at the age of four while attending the Seattle Waldorf School. Drawing on her early experiences with wet-on-wet watercolor painting, Sophia uses white space to create a meditative and contemplative quality in her work, inviting viewers to connect with the natural world in a visual way.
Sophia's passion for art has led her to showcase her work as a featured artist at the Refuge OutDoor Festival, to present at the SHUNPIKE Artists of Color Expo and Symposium, and to serve as a finalist judge for Amazon's Artist in Residency Program.
As an artist and teacher, Sophia is committed to supporting others in their creativity to express themselves through art. By sharing her paintings with the world and teaching others the techniques she has developed, Sophia hopes to help individuals connect with their inner selves and find a sense of healing and personal growth through the creative process.
About Christina Looney / / IG:
Christina Looney is a self-taught watercolor artist from Arlington, WA, who is inspired by the beauty and wonder of the natural world. Since starting in 2020, she has been developing a playful, colorful style and has a knack for lively blind contour drawings.
Christina paints in her home studio and enjoys plein air painting wherever she can—even from a tree hut deck overlooking a New Zealand rainforest. Her work captures the spirit of nature and invites viewers to slow down, explore, and see the world with curiosity, joy, and a sense of wonder.
About Jessica Plesko/ /
Jessica is a Seattle-based artist painting Pacific Northwest inspired landscapes and birds, in both acrylic and watercolor. She hikes andcreates art to center herself, and to establish a connection to both the natural world and to her audience. Her hope is that her work elicits the same sense of serenity and wonder that she feels when she's out exploring our region's wild places.
