Nashville, are you ready for this town’s most unique beer festival? The Real Ale RoundUp is just that! The Picnic Tap has gathered up some of Nashville best brewers to make once in a lifetime beer that will be featured at the festival. What makes it unique? This beer festival features real ale only.
What is real ale? “a name for beer brewed from traditional ingredients, matured by secondary fermentation in the container from which it is dispensed, and served without the use of extraneous carbon dioxide.”
Brewers love to play with the flavors of their beer by adding things like oak, whiskey, fruit, and more. We can not wait to see what unique ingredients these brewers have added to create their special releases.
These delicate, self fermented beers are drawn from a “cask.”
On Saturday November 9th from 12-4 pm the festival will offer real ales from local breweries. These are beers that you will not find anywhere else, and cannot be duplicated.
