Ready Together: Emergency Preparedness in The Pearl

Ready Together: Emergency Preparedness is a monthly workshop series created for residents of Portland’s Pearl District who want to feel more confident, capable, and connected in the face of unexpected events. From May through October 2026, each session will explore a different preparedness topic—ranging from personal and household readiness to communication planning, local emergency resources, and coordinated community response. Designed for urban living, the series offers practical strategies that participants can apply immediately within their homes, buildings, and neighborhood networks. Each attendee will have the option to download the Emergency Preparedness Booklet, print it independently, or purchase a printed copy for convenient ongoing use.

Attendees can expect engaging, educational sessions that combine expert-informed guidance, real-life scenarios, and actionable planning tools. By the end of the series, participants will have a clearer emergency plan, a personalized preparedness resource, and stronger connections with fellow Pearl residents—because preparedness is most powerful when we are ready together.
