Inside everyone is a beautiful voice waiting to come out. Anyone can become a confident singer; even you. All you need is the right training. The Marietta, GA Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society is sponsoring these singing lessons as a service to the community; no charge or obligation is associated; no experience is required.
The lessons will be led by Michaela Slamka-Johnston. Michaela is a 4th generation barbershopper and a 3rd generation International Champion performer. She holds degrees in Music Education and Music Theory from the University of Missouri, is an experienced music educator and clinician and is the current Musical Director of the Big Chicken Chorus.
Young men of any age who enjoy singing, but want to improve any aspect of their capability to sing should attend. Whether you sing in the shower, your car, in the school choir, in the church or synagogue choir, or with your garage band, you will improve your confidence about singing and how to care for your voice.
The lessons begin on Monday, September 9 and will be held on the next four consecutive Mondays from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. You may attend any or all of these lessons by following the link below to reserve you spot.
