About this Event
Ready, Set, Grow! is the premier fully student-led career conference co-hosted by Alpha Kappa Psi and Delta Sigma Pi business fraternities. This year’s conference will be the 9th Ready, Set, Grow with conference attendance expected to be over 350 GWU students, faculty, and panelists hosted at the George Washington School of Business. Our goal is to allow GW students to establish relationships with professionals in various industries and take away new advice and information related to their specific industries.
For our past eight conferences, Ready, Set, Grow! has been the largest student-led conference at GWU and we hope to continue this historic rapport. Additionally, it was awarded GW 2022-2023 Outstanding Initiative and was the largest student-led conference in the Northeast last fall. Ready, Set, Grow! is open to attendees from all schools within GWU as well. Furthermore, RSG is a cross-collaboration with numerous offices within the GWSB including the GWSB Office of Undergraduate Programs, The F. David Fowler Career Center, GWSB’s Development & Alumni Relations, and The Undergraduate Business Association. The conference consists of numerous events such as a Dean’s Address, a Keynote Address, a networking reception, and 11 industry panels (consulting, finance, government/economics, data/technology, sustainability, accounting, marketing, international business, entrepreneurship, hospitality, real estate). This year there will also be various workshops hosted by GWSB organizations focused on career development, interview workshops, and non-profit work.
Both fraternities pride themselves in our efforts to support and make DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) a priority when planning Ready, Set, Grow! We have worked to ensure that our panelists and keynote speakers represent a diverse community to make certain that the panel conversations are relatable to a wide array of students.
