This is our annual invitation to join us at Young United Church (222 Furby at Broadway) on Sunday, December 21 at 7 pm for our Readings and Carols Service "Journey Towards the Light." This reflective and meditative service will include congregational carols, organ and choral music from medieval times to the present day by Guillaume Dufay, J.S. Bach, G.F. Handel, Mark Sirett, Elizabeth Poston and Leonard Enns. The Readings have been selected from scripture and include the poetry of Jan Richardson, Richard Wagamese, Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer, Hildegard von Bingen and others. Parking is available in the 2 lots across Sherbrook from Thompsons. Access is from Maryland or Sherbrook.
