Reading Town Centre, Evening Street Photography Walk – Tuesday, 26th August @ 6:30 PM.
Join us for a free street photography walk in Reading this coming Tuesday evening! Now is the perfect time to capture the town during a summers evening. This is a unique time to capture our town with that beautiful sunset light (without staying out too late).
📍 Meeting Point: GAIL's (located at the very end of Broad Street by the old Butter Market), 134 Broad Street, Reading RG1 2BD
🚗 Parking Suggestion: Hill Meadow Car Park, Caversham (RG4 8DH) – after 6 PM, it’s just £2.50 for the whole night and only a short walk away.
We’ll be walking a loop from through town, to the edge of Oxford Road, finishing back down Friar Street towards the Forbury, capturing the transition from the busy shopping streets closing to the colours of the early evening nightlife.
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is curious or loves street photography but doesn’t feel comfortable shooting alone. A group setting makes it safer and more enjoyable! Plus, it’s a great chance to meet fellow local photographers, share tips and explore new perspectives together.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, you are absolutely welcome and will always learn something from a unique evening, like this.
No pressure, no need to be shy. Just bring yourself and your camera (and an umbrella if it rains). Let’s make some great memories and capture the town in a whole new light!
