About this Event
How do the layers of the landscape tell a holistic story of a place? Join UVM Field Naturalist master's student Lena Andrews on the land to explore how bedrock affects soil, which impacts plant diversity, which nourishes livestock, which creates delicious cheese, beautiful wool, and healthy meat.
This program is fully outdoors, and will cover uneven terrain. Bring your grazing questions, any tools you use for observing the land around you, and footwear/clothing to be comfortable outdoors for two hours. Mobility accommodations are available.
This program is made possible by the generous support of The Forrest C. and Frances H. Lattner Foundation.
