About this Event

Shoreline Teens Lead the Reading of the Constitution - hosted by the League of Women Voters of the East Shore
On National Constitution Day our Shoreline students will be front and center in a public reading of the U.S. Constitution at Guilford Free Library. Come and hear the youth of our community bring new life to the words that continue to guide our democracy as they read the original text in full.
All are welcome - Free and open to the public!
Light refreshments and a free pocket-sized version of the Constitution are included in the evening’s activity.

Info: Local high school students from Guilford, Madison, Branford, and North Branford will read the full text of the U.S. Constitution aloud.

Post-Reading Light Refreshments
Info: Post-reading, attendees will be invited to mingle, enjoy light refreshments, pick up a complimentary pocket-sized Constitution, or check out a select group of library books for all ages about the Constitution.
