Reading Meetup at the Foundry

Join us for introvert happy hour! Bring a book and settle in for an evening of reading with fellow book lovers. Please sign in at the big table by the bar when you arrive.

RESERVE YOUR SEAT & KEEP YOUR RSVP ACCURATE. The Foundry is quite spacious, but we still need to know how many readers to expect so the venue is properly staffed. Signing up reserves your spot for this event. If your plans change, please update your RSVP to open up that seat for someone else. We understand that things may come up, but if possible please don't wait until the last minute to cancel. It is difficult to fill seats that are canceled day-of.

ENJOY FOOD & BEVERAGE. The Foundry has a full kitchen with a menu of tasty bites to enjoy before and during reading hour. Alcoholic beverages, tea, soda, and water are available for purchase at the bar. Please tip the bar/kitchen staff and thank them for hosting us!

ABOUT US: Silent Book Club Athens is a group created to bring together book lovers in the Athens, Georgia community. There is no assigned reading, no deadline to finish a book, and no required discussion. Bring your book of choice and enjoy reading in the company of others who appreciate and support reading too. Adults of all ages are welcome, and so are books of all genres and formats.
