Reading Group for Children: The Next Chapter
About this Event
Are you starting Secondary School in September? Enjoy reading? Then pop along to one of our Reading Group Sessions over the summer holidays.
These sessions are great for:
- Meeting other secondary school starters
- Making friends with others attending your new school
- Sharing a love of reading and other common interest
- Reading for enjoyment
- Practicing reading comprehension in preparation for secondary school
- Participating in the Summer Reading Challenge & Family Book Bingo
- Discovering what our libraries offer
Time: 3.30pm - 4.30pm
Date: Thursdays; 30th July 2026, 13th August 2026 & 27th August 2026
Age: 10 - 12
Booking: This is a drop-in event, so booking is not required. If you do choose to book a ticket, please be aware that it does not guarantee you a space. Participation will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
