Reading Allowed: a 12-hr read-in at Woollahra Library at Double Bay
About this Event
Open Doors, Open Books, Open Minds is a coordinated statewide Library Open Day held during Library and Information Week.
The initiative brings together public libraries across NSW to showcase their services, spaces, collections and community impact through a shared day of activity and storytelling.
Woollahra Libraries will celebrate with Reading Allowed, a 12-hour read-in inviting library members and special guests to read aloud as we fill the library with stories and poetry throughout the day.
If you are a Woollahra Libraries member and would like to read aloud and help us reach 12 hours of continuous reading, we welcome you to submit an Expression of Interest.
Program:
- 12.00pm – 3.00pm: Adult authors
- 3.00pm – 5.00pm: Children's authors
- 5.00pm – 6.00pm: Young adult authors
