Conejo Players Readers Theatre will be performing an original adaptation of “A Christmas Carol” which recounts the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, an elderly miser who is visited by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley and the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come.
Our Readers Theatre version is an original adaptation which blends the original text with dramatic dialogue to make for an incredible evening of holiday magic and rebirth. This special evening is delivered in the traditional style of readers theatre with actors reading from the scripts, no props, no costumes and no sets.
Tickets are FREE for this Holiday Event, but we ask for you to reserve a ticket a head of time. We are welcoming audience members to bring an unwrapped gift as a donation to the Ventura chapter of Toys For Tots.
