Read to a Dog at MCRD Library

*Must have a valid DOD ID card or personal base access. Base access sponsorship is not available for this event. Not a volunteer oppourtunity.*

Celebrate National Reading Month by reading aloud to certified therapy dogs at the MCRD Library!

Independent Therapy Dogs, Incorporated will be providing their friendly dogs who love to listen to children read. The dogs will rest calmly beside the readers - those that struggle and those that don't. This program is recommended for children in grades K-6. Please register each reader.
