Winner of the 2019 Olivier Award for Best New Comedy, Home, I’m Darling is a sharp, witty comedy by Laura Wade that explores nostalgia, gender roles and the pursuit of perfection. When Judy and Johnny choose to live their lives in an idealised way, their picture -perfect 1950s world starts to crack, revealing the heartbreaking consequences of chasing an alternate reality.Director, Sharon Carter co-directed Equus in 2024, and was part of the award winning team for her performance in Our Walk Through the World in 2025.
Auditions are scheduled for 10 am on Saturday, 11th April and Sunday, 12th April at the Headgate Theatre. You are strongly advised to attend the read-through prior to attending the auditions.
