Hosted by RAD Baltimore, Read the Room is a monthly literature open mic for lovers of reading, books and poetry. It is a celebration of words and the power they have to move us. If there is a passage, poem, etc. that you would love to share with the audience, we invite you to attend. If you are an author or wordsmith, we also invite you to attend and read from your work.
Sign-up begins at 6:15 p.m. on the day of the event.
Read the Room takes place at Old Major in Historic Pigtown. The event is free to attend, but we ask that all attendees make a purchase of food or drink from Old Major, which has a bar and kitchen. You will be given a menu and expected to buy something in support of the establishment.
Street parking is available.
