Read-In for Feedin'

The RCC Book Club is hosting a fundraiser for our Nutritional Security Programs, and they want YOU to join them! If you want to read for a good cause, fill out the registration form (link below) by Aug. 10th, ask your friends, family, co-workers, or anyone in your circle to sponsor you for a set amount for the day, and then get to reading on August 15th! People are welcome to come and go as they wish to the RCC from 9:00am-9:00pm. Feel free to bring blankets, drinks, snacks, pillows, or anything you feel will help make your time with us more comfy! There will be some refreshments provided, too! If you do join us in person, bring your pledge sheet and donations (cash or check) to the event, or if reading at home, bring them in the following week to the RCC. Please make checks out to “The Rotterdam Community Center”.
From 9:00 - 11:00 am and 2:00 - 4:00 pm we will have family hours at the RCC with crafts for those with kids under 15. Children (under 18) are welcome to join at any time during the day but must be accompanied by a responsible adult. We do request that parents help their kids be mindful of readers outside the family hours who might want a quieter atmosphere for reading.
