This class is designed for owners and their dogs to work in a controlled environment under professional guidance to address reactive behavior. Reactivity is defined as an excessive response to stimuli (cars/dogs/bikes/people etc) in the environment, this can be due to many different reasons such as fear/frustration/excitement. Over the course of 6 weeks you will learn a variety of training techniques to modify this behavior, as well as gain an understanding of canine cognition, communication, and evidenced-based training methodology. This class can be utilized as a starting point for teams working on reactivity or as an adjunct to one on one training as an opportunity to implement skills in a controlled environment. There is one humans only class followed by 5 weeks of hands on learning with your dog.
Class space is limited to 4 dogs . Classes fill quickly so contact us right away to secure a spot or get onto our waiting list for future class sessions.
