About this Event
About this Event
Re-Playing Heritage: Theatre and Remembrance is inspired by Dr Carmen Levick’s research into the history of Sheffield’s Jewish community. The project celebrates the city’s Jewish heritage and culture by reviving the legacy of the ‘Maccabi Players’, a famous post-war community theatre group.
Through an exhibition, music and rehearsed readings young people will honour this cultural history, bringing a vibrant chapter of the city’s past back to the stage. This event will be live streamed, please go to the website for further details.
