Re-Feel Your Emotions

Have you ever wondered if your ancestors felt the same emotions as us? Hosted by Cybernetic Salon, this workshop invites you to think about the ways our emotional experience is shaped by larger cultural structures. There will be a talk and discussion centered around the different ways people interpreted their feelings throughout history and other cultural contexts, including big tech’s inextricable influence on the modern era’s values. With this new understanding of the malleability of feelings, we will create entries for a collective field guide that will ask how creatively reframing our differences may serve our collective empathy.
