You are invited to participate in creating a one of a kind community flower garden made from colorfully painted reclaimed water bottles. Create a colorful flower from a repurposed plastic bottle, write messages to the future on it, and contribute to a collaborative public art installation that will remain on display in the Highland Center Library.
You can choose to make a second flower to take home or create your own 3D art piece from reclaimed plastic materials we’ve collected. Or do both!
No experience or special skills needed. Materials and instruction will be provided.
Children and adults are both welcome.
**We will be using acrylic paints, please wear old clothes or bring a smock. We will have a limited supply of smocks on hand.
If you have any interesting plastic pieces you’d like to bring or share, please make sure they are clean and bring them with you.
Free and open to the public.
