Re-Activate – Scuba Refresher Program
This program is designed for certified divers who want to refresh their skills, rebuild confidence, and get comfortable underwater again. The Re-Activate scuba refresher at Southern Maryland Divers is instructor-guided and tailored to your experience level and time away from diving.
What This Program Is
Re-Activate is not a certification course. It’s a skills refresher for certified divers who haven’t been diving recently or want extra practice before an upcoming trip or class. The focus is on reviewing core scuba skills, safety procedures, and equipment use in a controlled environment.
How the Program Works
The refresher is flexible and instructor-led, focusing on what you actually need:
• Knowledge Review via PADI E-learning – Refresh dive planning, safety concepts, and equipment basics at your own pace
• Confined Water Session – Practice fundamental skills at a comfortable pace
• Instructor Coaching – Personalized feedback and guidance throughout
The session is calm, supportive, and designed to rebuild confidence—not test it.
What’s Included
• PADI E-learning course issued by us after registration
• Professional instructor guidance
• Confined water refresher session
• Use of scuba equipment during the program (as applicable)
• Support from experienced dive professionals
**Equipment inclusion does NOT include personal gear consisting of a mask, snorkel, fins, and fin boots which are available to students at a 10% discount in our shop**
(This program does not result in a new certification. Additional training or open water dives may be recommended based on your goals.)
