The RCMP Pipes and Drums are a community-based group that perform throughout New Brunswick with shows and parades featuring the Scottish Highland Bagpipes and Highland dancing. The mandate of the national band program is to “Benefit the Community through Music and Dance”
The group is made up of volunteers who give an average of 5000 hours of community performances each year.
May 23rd 2023 the RCMP celebrated 150 years of community policing. To celebrate this historical achievement J division Pipes and Drums with the Dunnett School of Highland Dancers will perform at various venues throughout the year. These concerts are free to the public.
