Meet the Hosts
, Tutor (Research) Art & Design Graduate Diploma and Course Leader Art & Design Portfolio Development Short Course
Richard has 25 years’ experience as a practitioner, educator and researcher. Richard’s research and practice focuses on the designer as author, and self- and small-publishing.
Richard is Tutor (Research) in communication design on the Graduate Diploma Art & Design and academic lead on the Art & Design Portfolio Development short course. Richard has previously held academic roles as Senior Lecturer at University for the Creative Arts and Leeds Arts University. Richard has an MA in Graphic Design, PGCE, and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Richard has exhibited nationally and internationally, and has bookworks and artists' books in number of collections.

Rob Flattery is a higher education marketing and student recruitment expert working to find, attract and guide the best students from around the World to the RCA.
With over 15-years’ experience, Rob’s expertise covers marketing strategy, brand and campaign management, international and domestic student recruitment, partner management, communications, digital and alumni relations.
