Raytheon Defense Supplier Innovation Symposium (RDSIS)

Raytheon, in partnership with the GT APEX Accelerator at Georgia Tech, is proud to co-host this year’s Raytheon Defense Supplier Innovation Symposium (RDSIS), a premier event dedicated to fostering collaboration and emerging technology innovations within the defense supply chain.

This year’s symposium highlights the critical role of Small Business Innovation Start-ups, particularly those that have received Letters of Support (LoS) and/or SBIR contract awards, showcasing their contributions to advancing defense technologies.

With a focus on accelerating innovation across the supply chain, RDSIS underscores Raytheon’s commitment to fostering strategic partnerships that drive efficiency, strengthen relationships, and deliver cutting-edge solutions to meet evolving customer needs.

By uniting stakeholders to share best practices, address common challenges, and optimize sourcing strategies, Raytheon is reinforcing its market position, reducing supply chain risks, and fostering long-term relationships while supporting small business subcontracting goals.

This collaborative approach not only enhances performance but also solidifies Raytheon’s dedication to community engagement and strengthening ties with key partners, positioning the company as a leader in defense innovation.

The symposium will feature both educational programming and targeted business engagement opportunities designed to help suppliers better understand Raytheon's procurement priorities and connect with potential business opportunities led by Raytheon representatives and industry experts, covering topics such as Doing Business with Raytheon, supplier engagement, procurement priorities, and emerging opportunities within the defense industry.

The program will feature a special fireside chat with Mr. Khalil R. Mack, Deputy Director, The Department of War's Office of Industrial Base Growth (IBG), followed by a Q&A session. This conversation will provide attendees with valuable insights into the defense industrial base and opportunities for small businesses to engage and grow within the industry.

Attendees will participate in a working lunch, providing additional opportunities to network with fellow suppliers and industry leaders.

The afternoon will feature matchmaking meetings between Raytheon representatives and selected businesses.

Matchmaking appointments will be coordinated based on each company's capabilities and alignment with Raytheon's procurement needs, target technology areas, and applicable NAICS codes. These focused meetings are intended to facilitate meaningful introductions, explore potential subcontracting opportunities, and identify suppliers that support Raytheon's current and future programs.

Supplier Matchmaking Notice:

Participation in the supplier matchmaking program is optional but does not guarantee a matchmaking appointment. Companies selected for one-on-one meetings will be chosen by Raytheon based on their Quad Statement, capabilities, NAICS codes, and alignment with current procurement priorities.

All registrants are encouraged to complete the Quad Statement, which will be attached to the registration confirmation. This information will assist Raytheon in evaluating supplier capabilities for matchmaking and future procurement opportunities.

• We encourage all registrants to attend the symposium, regardless of matchmaking selection. The event offers educational sessions, networking opportunities, and valuable insights into Raytheon's supplier engagement process.
• While businesses not selected for a scheduled matchmaking meeting will not have a dedicated appointment, there may be opportunities throughout the day to briefly connect with Raytheon representatives.
• Attendees are also encouraged to bring copies of their capability statement and business cards, which may be left with Raytheon representatives for post-event review and future opportunities.
