Rawda Mabrouk leads two movement workshops for adults that introduce Animal Flow foundations through a fusion of somatic movement and contemporary dance. Animal Flow is ground-based movement designed to improve strength, flexibility, mobility and coordination. No formal training is required. Participants are encouraged to attend both workshops, as the second session builds on concepts introduced in the first.

Workshop 1 – Open Level
Open to all adults, no prior experience required.
This workshop introduces participants to foundational Animal Flow patterns combined with somatic movement and contemporary movement exploration. Participants will explore mobility, coordination, grounding, and creative movement in an accessible and supportive environment.
The workshop focuses on how Animal Flow principles can be integrated into:
Everyday movement and posture
Mobility and strength practices
Dance and improvisation
Mind and body coordination

Workshop 2 – Open Level / Recommended for Movers
Recommended for participants with some movement background (dance, yoga, fitness, martial arts, athletics, etc.), though still open to anyone interested.
This session expands further into flow combinations, traveling patterns, improvisation, and contemporary movement integration, allowing participants to explore Animal Flow as both a conditioning practice and expressive movement language.
BIO
Rawda Mabrouk is a dancer, choreographer, designer and multidisciplinary artist based in Saskatoon. Originally from Cairo, Egypt, she has trained in diverse forms of dance since childhood. Holding a bachelor’s degree in Product Design and certification in movement training, she integrates dance, design, and visual art into an interdisciplinary practice that explores body, material, and space. Her work is guided by curiosity, storytelling and a belief in movement as a transformative force.
Rawda Mabrouk is a participant in the Sustained Artist Mentorship Program.
