Join us for a night of RAW CHICAGO BLUES with Blues Legend, Bob Margolin. Bob toured with Muddy Waters from 1973 to 1980.Bob Margolin is a Steady Rollin’ Blues guitar player and singer who tours worldwide with his band, solo, or as a featured guest. He delivers original songs and the spirit of Chicago Blues that he learned on stage and recording in Muddy Waters’ band from 1973-1980.
You can see him with Muddy and The Band in the Last Waltz film from 1976 all the way to live in the all-star 2019 Last Waltz tour. Bob is known for his slide guitar, powerful vocals, and the sound, stories, and time travel of his experiences with the legends he knew.
Bob has a special connection with the Colorado Blues scene. Last year he jammed with Colorado Blues superstars, Rex Peoples, Erika Brown, Joe Schicke, and many rising stars. His band includes Al Chesis, Alyssa Chesis, and Willie Panker. What is in store for this year's event? Come find out!
Join Bob and friends for a special concert event at the funky underground Roots Music Project warehouse. The night will feature Tarell Martin and C2 Mass Choir.
About Tarell Martin and C2 Mass Choir:
The world-class artists Tarell has performed with are some of the same artists that make up our favorite playlists and cross many different musical genres. Tarell has shared his musical creativity and excellence with artists like Jackiem Joyner, Kim Burrell, Nelson Rangell, Dotsero, Brad Paisley, Eric Darius, Sax Pack (Kim Waters, Jeff Kashiwa, and Steve Cole), Regina Bell, Paul Taylor, Marion Meadows, Dorinda Clark Cole, Vicky Winans, Will Downing, and many more.
Tarell’s life goal is to make sure lives are inspired and changed through music. In the Spring of 2021, God prompted him to continue his life’s work by reigniting and reimagining the Stellar award-winning Colorado Mass Choir, which blessed many people under the direction of the legendary Joe Pace. Now known as the C2 Mass Choir, its mission is to use their gifts, graces, and abilities to do good in the community by singing poetry and scripture that touches hearts, inspires change and growth, and encourages people to fulfill their God-given dreams.
