This year’s Entrepreneurial Awards will recognize three outstanding area businesses:
Carroll’s Corn in Rochester has transformed a family recipe into a successful gourmet popcorn company that has been crafting small batches locally since 1993.
Gar-Lin Farms in Eyota is a multigenerational family farming operation recognized for its commitment to innovation, sustainability, agricultural education, and the local community.
Watson Recycling in Oronoco is a third-generation family business that has served Southeast Minnesota for more than 35 years while expanding its recycling services and advancing a greener future.
The Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to the Nuss family of Nuss Truck & Equipment in Rochester. Since its beginnings in 1959, the family-owned company has grown into a multi-state operation while maintaining its commitment to customer relationships, family values, and community service.
The Warrior Award will be presented to the Alliance of Chicanos, Hispanics, and Latin Americans (ACHLA). Through advocacy, education, and personalized support, ACHLA has helped entrepreneurs and families strengthen their financial knowledge, business foundations, and capacity for long-term success.
