With part one still in the distant future, we’ve already got the sequel in the can.
The line-up of the initial installment is a real crowd pleaser, with scene stars Restless and The Long Tall Texans at the head of the cast, leading to 70% of the tickets being sold in just two days.
Like all good sequels, Raucous Records 40th Anniversary II - The Aftermath - follows the theme, but with some unexpected twists… and a whole new cast.
The Sting-Rays and The Deltas are the leading men... and woman.
It’s not the unlikely pairing that it first appears to be - the two bands topped the bill 40 years ago at London’s Klub Foot in August 1986 - with the Surfadelics and The Highliners - an equally eclectic billing.
And, in a very spooky turn of events, both bands have a Bongo in their ranks.
Support comes from the amazing rattle-rock duo The Snakerattlers, with one more band to be announced
