A two day workshop around two things I have been asked to run workshops on, they just happen to be two things I am passionate about tooHome made sourdough making and crafting a hide rattle, It may seem like an odd pairing, but both take 2 half days and both are about patience and ritual. Our rattles (and bread) will be created in ceremony. We will cover the basics of your sourdough including the starter, you will help create (and eat) the bread on both days. You will create your rattle over 2 days and decorate it.
On Sunday you will leave with your own sourdough starter base, recipe book and a rattle.
Please bring with you: patience, any particular you wish to add to your rattle either for the rattle or decoration. If you have a favourite piece of wood for the handle, for instance.
Please note we will be using wheat flour, this is not gluten free.
