About this Event
The Rat City Arts Festival welcomes neighbors to put on their best Rat City Chic and come view local art from local artists!
Pieces that will be at the center of the Rat City Gala & Gallery will be our Beautified Rat Trap Installation. This installation highlights pieces of artwork from 12 local artists who took a commonly seen rat trap box and turned them into a innovative piece of artwork!
A Rat Wall of locally sourced sketches will also be presented with pieces available for purchase. All proceeds from purchases from the Rat Wall will be donated to our Emerging Artist Grant that supports local artists in the area.
The Rat City Gala & Gallery will also present Rat History of Allston and Boston. Guests will have the opportunity to review research on Mr. Rymkus, a local from Allston Brighton and the famous winner of Boston's1917 Rat Catching Competition, along with additional rat history.
Food (In honor of Pizza Rat) and non-alcoholic beverages (served in flutes for classiness) will be served.
