An immersive experience of the classical arts, Rasik Rendezvous by Ishalaya aims to weave together the subtle harmonies that exist between the art, artist and their audience. We bring to you the first edition of Rasik Rendezvous with the theme of ‘Shringar Ras’, in consonance with the arrival of spring. `Shringar`, one of the nine rasas or emotions in the classical arts, comprises of myriad hues that range from romanticism, beauty, adornment, love and longing, to many others. Spring brings with it a celebration of love, renewal and creativity expressed vibrantly through `Shringar Ras`. Ishalaya curates an evocative performance by celebrated kathak exponent - its founder, Isha Kathavate, along with a synergistic bouquet of poetry, interactive theatre and Hindustani classical music performances that together interpret and illustrate the essence of `Shringar`, in an intimate traditional baithak setting.
