Join WMA 9 Ambassador Brianna for an invasive species removal at Wallace House and Old Dutch Parsonage Historic Site! Help improve this historic waterway and the nearby Eastern redcedar trees by removing the harmful and aggressive plants that have taken over! Removing these plants will allow for the native trees to flourish and provide better habitat for wildlife. 📅 Date: March 29 (Rain Date March 30)
📍 Location: Wallace House and Old Dutch Parsonage Historic Site (71 Somerset Street, Somerville, NJ 08876)
🕙 Time: 10 AM - 12:30 PM
Please park at the Wallace House and Old Dutch Parsonage's parking area, located at 71 Somerset Street, Somerville, NJ 08876.
Please wear clothing you don't mind getting dirty and sturdy close toed shoes. Bring plenty of water. Light refreshments and restrooms will be available.
Equipment and supplies will be provided, but if you have a favorite pair of gloves or clippers, feel free to bring them!
